The Sheetstand was created from the perspective of ergonomics and safety. In fact, the Sheetstand is the right solution to stop storing sheet materials horizontally at floor level on the shop floor. The storage racks for sheet material contribute to the comfort, safety and performance of users, while reducing the risk of injury and fatigue.

Working with trestles guideline (NOA).
In 2019, because of the proliferation of trestles and incidents in practice, the Dutch Association of Entrepreneurs for Finishers (NOA) came out with guidelines for the use of trestles, wooden trestles were unreliable and proved awkward in practice. The guideline covered safety and ergonomics and gave requirements and instructions for the design and construction of trestles. Our design at the time was therefore based on this guideline, which means that our storage trestles meet the requirements set with regard to safety and ergonomics.

Optimal Space Utilization
With The Sheetstand, work space is maximized. The clever design allows the storage rack to be placed back-to-back, doubling storage capacity without taking up additional space.
Safety mitigation mechanism
The Sheetstand can carry a maximum of 30 plates, which means it is never loaded above the safe load weight of 1500 KG. This ensures a controlled and safe working environment.

Safety
At The Sheetstand, safety is paramount. The construction industry consistently ranks in the top three sectors with the most workplace accidents, with one-fifth of accidents even involving permanent injury. Many companies in the construction industry still rely on wooden trestles, it has been shown many times that these trestles can pose a hazard on the job by falling over or even breaking off. These traditional trestles develop hairline cracks over time and exposure to the elements which are difficult to see with the naked eye. Under pressure, these trestles can break, posing risks such as property damage and personal injury.
The Sheetstand can carry up to 1500 KG per set and comes standard with safety and operating instructions, so that everyone can immediately work safely storing and handling the sheet material. To further enhance safety, we offer two accessories: the coupler and the heel. The connector provides a sturdy cross connection between two Sheetstand trestles, which improves lateral stability and prevents the trestles from tipping over. The heel is specially designed to prevent tipping. The use of both ensures a safe setup.

Ergonomics
Ergonomics and ease of use go hand in hand, the reason being that ergonomic design lays the foundation for a user-friendly experience. This has therefore been applied to the design of The Sheetstand.
The purpose of our ergonomic design is to relieve the strain on workers. The Sheetstand is easy to pick up thanks to a handle. In addition, The Sheetstand creates the correct working height for stocking and processing sheet materials, which facilitates vertical lifting of sheets and reduces physical effort. In addition to less physical exertion, this also leads to improved body posture, providing occupational health and safety benefits. It increases comfort, safety and performance while reducing the risk of injury and fatigue.
