The faces behind The Sheetstand are as driven as you are: we share the same passion for construction and understand your needs like no other.

Our History

Traditional wooden trestles, in use since about 2010 for lifting and processing sheet metal, proved unable to withstand the challenges of the construction industry.
These bucks are hypersensitive to moisture and wear which can lead to dangerous situations. Resulting in property damage and personal injury. In terms of ergonomics, storage and transportation, the traditional trestle was also found to be seriously lacking. In 2018, we decided this could be better, and started developing The Sheetstand. The Sheetstand had to start meeting all requirements in terms of functionality, durability, safety, ergonomics and environmental friendliness.

With feedback from practice and testing by an expert research team, in 2019 we introduced The Sheetstand Storage trestle for sheet materials, made of high-quality plastic. The first storage trestle for sheet material that met all the requirements of the construction industry. Over the past few years, The Sheetstand has proven itself to be an extremely reliable product. Our experience and feedback over the years has therefore allowed us to launch The Sheetstand ‘2.0’ in 2024, a further developed version that is even safer, more functional and more ergonomic.

At BMN, we’ve been working with The Sheetstand since its introduction in 2019. We purchase the storage trestles and make them available for rent to our customers across the Netherlands. On construction sites, The Sheetstand has proven its value time and time again – thanks to its strength, high load capacity and compliance with safety requirements. For us, safety and ease of use are essential, and The Sheetstand delivers on both. This is the deciding factor for more and more clients to choose The Sheetstand. And because The Sheetstand is being further developed in consultation with users based on practical experience, it only gets better!
