De Plaatmaat places great importance on protecting your personal information. This policy sets out in clear terms how we deal with personal data. We do everything in our power to safeguard your privacy and therefore treat personal details with great care.
What personal information does De Plaatmaat process?
In order to execute the agreement you have entered into with us, we require the following personal data from you:
Name and address details
Your (company) name is stored because we prefer not to address you by your customer number. We need your address and place of residence to send you invoices, to contact you or to allow you to visit us!
E-mail address
We keep your e-mail address so that we can send you messages relating to the service or product that you purchase from us. We may also use your e-mail address to send you newsletters. Of course you have the option to unsubscribe.
Telephone number
We use your telephone number to contact you regarding the service or product that you purchase from us.
Other data that we process
We also collect personal data that is not intended for the performance of a contract. We do this on the basis of a legitimate interest or with your consent. This concerns the following data:
Work-related personal data
If you apply to us, we naturally want to know what you have to offer. Your submitted data, such as CV, application letter, portfolio or application assignment, will be deleted within four weeks in case you are not hired. If we still want to contact you at a later stage, we will first ask for your permission to keep your data longer.
Cookies
We place the following cookies:
- A session cookie, which allows us to track and ensure that completed forms actually arrive;
- A cookie that allows us to see if your browser supports JavaScript;
- Google Analytics cookie. We do not collect any personal information about you, but we can track the use of the website so that we can improve it.
What do we process your personal data for?
Of course, we do not process your personal data without reason. We need them for:
- Contacting you in relation to the agreement we have entered into, for example sending emails;
- Processing responses to our vacancies;
- Gaining insight into the use of our website, so that we can improve it where necessary and thus offer a better experience.
We will not use your personal data for any purpose other than those discussed above, unless you have given your prior consent or we are legally obliged to do so.
Your Rights
Under the applicable Dutch and European legislation, you as a data subject have certain rights with regard to the personal data processed by us or on our behalf. We will explain below what these rights are and how you can exercise them.
Initially, to prevent misuse, we will only send copies and transcriptions of your data to your e-mail address already known to us. You always have the right to inspect the data we process, or have processed, which relate to or can be traced back to you. You can make a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a copy of all data at the e-mail address we have on record together with a list of the processors holding this data and the category under which we have stored it.
Rectificatierecht
U heeft altijd het recht om de gegevens die wij (laten) verwerken en die betrekking hebben op uw persoon of daartoe herleidbaar zijn, te laten aanpassen. U kunt een verzoek met die strekking doen aan onze contactpersoon voor privacyzaken. U ontvangt dan binnen 30 dagen een reactie op uw verzoek. Als uw verzoek wordt ingewilligd sturen wij u op het bij ons bekende e-mailadres een bevestiging dat de gegevens zijn aangepast.

Right to object and other rights
If the occasion arises, you are entitled to object to the processing of your personal information by or on behalf of De Plaatmaat. If you raise an objection, we will immediately cease to process your personal information until we have received a response. If your objection is well-founded, we will provide you with copies and/or copies of the information that we are processing, or have processed, and then cease processing the information on a permanent basis.
